雲景奏鳴曲 / Cloudscape Sonata

家庭成員彼此像雲朵般聚集和分散,時而緊密,時而飄離。住宅的公空間是家庭成員彼此交流的處所,我們將住宅公空間轉化為雲朵,生活的影像微映在雲朵之間,若隱若現。整個空間就像是一朵變形的雲,從四個面長出不同的幾何形態——天花板取雲之形,在室內映照出一片雲影,走廊順勢化為弧形通道,如同穿行於雲霧之間。

客廳與餐廳中間利用半高造型隔屏分隔,又藉由天花造型串聯,用意是既能夠達到分隔空間的作用,又不會在視覺上阻斷空間。隔屏造型也同時成為了鋼琴的前靠,放置於客廳與餐廳的中心,讓女主人在演奏的同時能夠使柔和的音樂迴繞在兩個空間中,如漣漪般在弧形壁面與雲頂之間擴散。

我們藉由直向的線條作為場所的分隔,又利用曲面的線條作為重新串連起場所的連結,像雲朵般,時而緊密,時而分離,這樣的手法反覆運用在空間中。整體空間的材料藉由些微不同的材料與幾何型態帶出空間柔和層次,恰似雲朵般,柔和卻又多樣,音樂與空間彼此呼吸,共同譜寫這一首屬於居所的奏鳴曲。

Like clouds, family members gather and drift apart—sometimes close together, sometimes floating away. The shared living spaces of a home are where family members come together, and here we transformed those spaces into a cloud: fragments of daily life reflected faintly within it, appearing and disappearing like light through mist. The entire space unfolds like a single, shape-shifting cloud, growing distinct geometric forms from each of its four faces—the ceiling takes the shape of clouds, casting their reflection through the interior, while the hallway curves gently, as if passing through mist.

The living and dining areas are divided by a half-height partition, yet reconnected through the form of the ceiling above—separating the spaces without visually cutting them off. This partition also serves as a backing for the piano, placed at the very center between living and dining, allowing the lady of the house to fill both spaces with soft music as she plays, its notes rippling outward across the curved walls and cloud-like ceiling.

Vertical lines are used to divide the spaces, while curved lines draw them back together—like clouds, at times close, at times apart, a gesture repeated throughout the home. Subtle variations in material and geometric form bring out a soft, layered quality throughout the space, gentle yet varied, just like clouds themselves—music and space breathing in tandem, together composing a sonata for the home.
